Well it’s that time of year again it couldn’t come soon enough for us and I’m sure it’s the same for all of you. There’s not much chance of a start round here due to all the cover so it was a trip out Cornwall’s Bodmin Moor with mark739 and Sharper off here. Kit, dogs and ferrets packed in to Mark’s Land Rover Discovery (must be his Mrs how he drives it) and off we went. Took us about 45 minutes to get out there but the time flew with Mark telling us tales about when he used to be a Royal Marine and how he used to go out drinking in women’s clothes . On arrival we spoke to the farmer and he pointed us in the right direction but warned us that it was a bit wet in the fields and we might struggle getting the Landy across the fields. We made it to the top of the first field and had to leave the motor there. Right I’m waffling on already so I will leave it there and let you have a look at the little picture show I’ve knocked up. Couple of things to note when watching it

1. The dodge array of facial hair (the border terrier takes the prize for best beard)

2. Some dodge handling skills (England goalkeeping call up imminent)

3. The lurcher is not dead and they are not about to bury her, it’s the usual end of day 7 foot ferret lie-up and the dog reckons her work is done.(and I had more pictures to take HONEST)
