Reason I'm on the second wife...

MINE LOVES THE TERRIERS AND WHAT GOES WITH THEM. I WORK THEM IN THE WINTER. SHE DOES THE SHOWS IN THE SUMMER, PLUS SHES SEEN A FEW DIGS BUT SHES A BIT SCARY TO BE NEAR WHEN IVE ASKED HER TO LOAD THE G

ERM I think the photo says it all,my namesake after I retired her,the wife bought her a bed and she slept from 6 weeks old to 10 years inside the house even after a day in the country,she was the hous

got the its the dogs or me a few times early on. and there have been personality clashes over the years. between her indoors and one or two particular dogs. but she has turned it around over the years and now i couldnt do without her imput. the kids are good also. makes it easy for me to go to work. knowing they will all be walked and fed by the time i get in. :toast:

Introduced me to my First proper Terrier..can look after them as good as any ..got it of her Mother :yes:

Only problem is she would prefer to keep any pups that come around..thinks they should all be kept..

Tell her I will give any more a good home down the shed shes welcome to visit any time, lol.

won a big show in the 80s had a few in the beer tent then a few more and a few in my local the lads dropped me off -- the house was in darkness the doors locked i spent the night in the shed curled up with the dog and hugging a big old silver cup best nights kip i`ve had in years :thumbs:

i dont care what any one says it must be hard .....................for any member of the family to loose a working dog whats been around and part of your life for years.............

and the sweat and guts its gave out to satisfy you..................through its working life .................just fills you with pride and good memories ................

and a big lump in your throat when there time has come..................a time to celerbrate a good dogs working life amonst friends........

never had a problem with wife if im not there she will clean them out feed em if anything she gets to attached to the young un,s if they dont make the grade

they dont come back home she gets a bit funny but soon gets over it

my missus cleans strips and baths them helps me bathe them after a days graft in country, only thing if i have a litter she wants to keep them all on,il not let her walk any of them just incase she loses one saves hassle but she loves the terriers & what they do just as much as i do,could,nt find a better lass to be fair been with her 9 years & still going strong :thumbs:
