Women?

Recommended Posts

Women who's partners have terriers, and not just have terriers 'lives and sleeps for terriers' do have to put up with alot.

They have got to make a lot of sacrifices for the dogs. Has anyone been given the old " Its the dogs or me!?" and if so what was your answer?

What sort of relationship does your missis have with the dogs? How involved does she get with them? I know some terrermen's women who enjoy the dogs, like to here how they are getting on in the field and who clean feed and walk the dogs. On the other hand I know terrermen who's women dont know whats in the yard, dont know their name and never ask how the day went in the field. How does your misses deal with it?

Dont mean to sound all mushey (lol) was just wondering how people find it.

mine thinks as much of the dogs as i do, she loves coming out with the terriers, but i have not managed to get her on the spade yet! lol she helps with cleaning the dogs up after. I told her right at the start that this is what i do, and how much it means to me, at the start she once called my terrier a work a hobby, if she did!!! I am glad she's ok with my hunting. I wouldnt put up with any nagging or moaning. She wouldnt dare give an ultumatem, as she knowns what would happen.

So Far So Good!!!

My wife doesn't really care for dogs or hunting but excepts in good heart it as something I do . Last new years day the mother in law had arranged for the family to go for a meal . I got up and said to the missus I was just going to let the dog to clear himself out . She says " don't be long mums booked a table " yer yer I says and of i go. The dog has a shite puts his nose to the ground and goes over to the dead rabbit earth that we walk past every day. I'm not worried because it's dead and hasn't even got a rabbit in it . He disappears down and starts to bay. A long story short i missed the meal come back covered in mud and not a bad word from the missus! She's a good girl that puts up with me and my dogs.
