has anybody done the above i was just curious really but might be tempted i could do with some info really........on shiping and how to go about it ..it will be from the far east dubai most proberly has i have a contact who owns a house out there and speaks arabic ...any help would be much appreciated thank ;):D you .....all the best snoop..

Saluki Snoop? My mate has imported them from America,i,ll if ya like?

miles any info would be great i dont want the yanky stuff really but if you could ask him about importing and such he might even know about the desert bred stuff as thats what iam really interested in ..cheers miles .. :victory:

 

 

frank the contact i have ..i was speaking to him yesterday he dosnt know anything about dogs but he has an house out there which he lets out and he speaks arabic very well it would only cost me the flight out there he has been going out there for years and i showed him a pic of saluki and he told me he has seen them out there in the villages......and with him speaking there language so well it would be a big bonus ...a desert bred is what i would want... i know the shieks have them and it would be a near impossabilty to get one off them.. but people still use them over there just like we use lurchers as pot fillers......it would de a dream come true for me to get my hands on a desert bred saluki.... :D

have been thinking of impoting a dog

from america my self the last year and a half .

its not easy living in ireland .

six months quarrantene if you live here snoop.

if living in england you can get away with quarrintene.

but there still is a fair bit of paper work.

cheers for your help lads some good links there thank you . :thumbs-up: .....macker it does seem like a hell of a lot of rules and regs .. :blink: but to get the right pooch it might be worth it :victory: its a lot of dosh too :blink: ..

LB...why two dogs ...the arabs value there dogs very highly they mostly go off the colour of a womens eyes and the body of coarse but they like green eyes for some reason :blink: and offer a good deal if you have that colour .... ;):D:D:D

i am shipping a whippet out to cyprus needed to get its rabies

injection and vet checked the day before it leaves

its just a pet pass port but i dont know if its the same

regulations for this country i reckon it will be i think they

need to be blood tested before you can bring them over

here.i hope you get one mate :)

I've got green eyes and I could keep LB company/ try to keep her out of trouble - can I come too please?
