Guest bob
do your dogs not have any teeth is that why you need to mince A valid point. However I am trying to make a 3 month stash of suitable best dog mince burgers. This is for my wife to feed my dog whilst I am in Iraq as she finds the raw food thing a bit of a bind when she is looking after my kids, dogs and ferrets. So the easier I make it for her the better really. But thanks again for enquiring about the dental fitness of my dog. Kind regards, Nik its your dog and you can feed as you like but good luck over there mate and dont get shot by the fecking yanks :thumbs-up: Quote Link to post
Guest Frank
Have you ever seen that film FARGO I have not seen the film mate... but being on a thread like this i can guess it's a gruesome horror.. .. Millet a bloke, who falls our with his parner in crime, kills him and then decides to get rid of the body in the grinder you discribed Millet. To cut a long story short Frank. Quote Link to post

Phil Lloyd 10,738
I want to buy a meat mincer and am looking at this one new for approx £35. I intend to smash up the bigger bones with a hammer first but I would like to know if any of you guys have used this type before and what you think of it. If you have any other suggestions feel free to comment. Cheers guys, Nik Grinder Price (ex VAT): £27.54 Price (inc VAT): £32.36 Item No: 168630E Ship Weight: 15 Kg Meat mincer Minces 4.5KG of meat in two minutes! Big 100 x 125mm hopper opening for easy loading. Heavy tin-plated cast iron. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Questions & Answers about this product Q: Does this meat grinder comes with grinding plates? A: Yes, this does come with grinding plates (1/4" and 3/8" plates). That one looks to be good enough mate... I like to feed the dogs whole carcases, and let them go to town on them,..its the natural way.... But,..if we were to mince/mash some of the raw meaty bones up,..they would not take up quite so much room in the freezer. Of late I have been turning down some excellent free tucker simply through a lack of freezer space. This is foolish. This year looks to be on the cards for a 'rabbit year'...If this is the case, the jukels are going to be run ragged,.especially on the lamp, and they are going to need the best of grub. Be interested to see how you get on Rabbiteer... All the best,.CHALKWARREN...... Edited June 11, 2007 by CHALKWARREN Quote Link to post

Guest The Big Fish
I have a similar version to that one, Rabbiteer. It will do the chicken carcasses and rabbits no problem, but it wont do the lamb ribs. I just feed the lamb as is anyways. Skin and gutted or complete rabbits? Well ive seen you gut rabbits, so i would suggest that you put them through as they are Quote Link to post

Guest Rabbiteer
Got the mincer today and tried it out on a few things. The rabbit went through in less than 45 secs. I will be leaving the fur and bits on next time as it was so easy to hand power it. Have only used it once but would realy reccomend it for £35. Good Hunting, Nik Quote Link to post

skycat 6,173
Didn't the tendons clog up the holes at all? And how much force did you have to use to turn the handle? In other words, would an old weakling like me be able to do say, 20 rabbits without my arm dropping off? Quote Link to post
