mike cunningham 8 Posted September 2, 2012 Report Share Posted September 2, 2012 there used to be a pet shop in manchester that used to sell them for a tenner 25 years ago on tibb st if anyone can remember and when asked if they were tame he said yes then would put on some welding gloves to handle them he was a rum b*****d had loads of pigeons that he used to catch from the streets does anyone from manchester remember this shop. johnrthrfrd 223 Posted September 3, 2012 Report Share Posted September 3, 2012 Lads maybe its just me ,but over the years i have seen ferrets kept in some horrible circumstances by guys that treat them as a disposable item.They feed them when they can be bothered ,keep them in hutches the size of a fookin shoe box.And probably at the end of a season hit them on the head or worse!.The reason for this is they are usually free or a fiver at most come breeding season and are easily obtained again.Maybe if the price of a ferret went up, half the dickheads that i have seen over the years with them would be put off owning one.A ferret bought for £30 from that pet shop probably has a better chance of getting looked after. Spot on mate. i once seen a ferret kept in an old washing machine no food water bed, i told the lad it was going to die he said its grand i gave it a sausege yesterday, i took her away told him to cop on what a w**ker.
