keldar67 0 Posted August 31, 2012 Report Share Posted August 31, 2012 just bought a hawke 4-12x50 ao ir scope. fitted it to my hw97k air rifle which had a hawke 3-9x40 on it, i thought it was faulty because every 10-20 shots i had to keep re setting the scope.the new scope i have adjusted to it max settings for up and to the right, and the gun is firing low and to the left at 35 yards i have no adjustment left can anyone help...... the sciope was new and out the box today cheers Quote Link to post

dogvixen01 34 Posted August 31, 2012 Report Share Posted August 31, 2012 might need shimming on the rear mount ( between scope bottom and mount ) .try some plastic from a camera film this should get the aim point to rise.if you have run out of l-r adjustment you might have to shim the mounts( scope to gun mount on the r/h side ) , if they are different ones to the original scope mounts.hope you get it sorted .
