iceman I kept pits for 23 years,I have lurchers for 32 years,im not braging but I know how to feed, condition and exercise to the limit,to me its all mind over matter, idont mind what anyone says cause

I think I'd like to see a bit more weight on a 7 1/2 month pup, also. Good luck with it.   Cheers.

sometimes the photos just dont show what your seeing trust me im an expert in shite photo`s

Why do people say "nice looking pup"; when that last pic shows a 7 1/2 month old pup devoid of any body fat ?? It does look like a decent pup, but for Gods sake, those pics show it in a bad light !! It looks like it needs a good feed in those pics !!

Cheers.

what ye reckon now chart, the pups and in fact all my dogs are fed to the limit and exercised every day,but I do see where you are coming from he does look a tad skinny in that, believe me its just his rib cage,it stands out unreal. At this moment I have 1 tray of chickens and 1 tray of fatty beef for them, and dont be shouting,''well why dont ye feed them it''

lol, heres another couple I just took.Im puting it down to,either 1 im shit at photography or

2the dog isnt photogenitic in any form, lol

trying to get him to stand still is a problem.

Hi Jigsaw, when you're taking photos of a dog close up like that it's best to kneel and get the camera at the dog's shoulder level, then move back until the all the dog is in the picture. I'm surprised no ones done a "sticky" on how to take doggy pictures. There're some good photographers on here who could do a good job of it.

I like your pup. I'm sure he'll cover his ribs in time. In my opinion a lot of saluki saturated hounds have a boney look to them.

even in real life he does look ribby, hes just that build, his half brother is a super fit, well muscled dog BUT hes got the barrell chest effect too, lol.the only thing is I KNOW hes in top condition and thats all that matters,if you put photos up here you got to accept the comments good or bad.If its one thing i dont do,its neglect the dogs etc.if its not put into them then you'll not get it out.
