if a fox hunt isnt fair then what is.................................they stand more of a chance getting away from hounds than they do a gun.................................

and its the same old story ......................before the ban hounds never injured foxes like guns do ...........................there either killed instantly by a hound or there not caught.................simple.

put it this way what would you choose hounds or a gun....................you dont get no chances with guns..............your hit and if its at the wrong distance with the wrong ammo your in for a slow painful death............................i would take my chances with the hounds i think..

if your a dog man and were against hunting with hounds before the ban ..........................................your an anti in my opionion

before the ban you would be surprised what got a way from the hounds............................due to a number of reasons ............it was more than fair

Where I'm at .The 3 come together .....Hounds/terriers....Guns ....and yes ! Lurchers......cuts down the chances of Escape.....but Some will always ALLUDE.

Because on any given Day ..one of these Cogs may be a bit Rusty...and like every Hunt .It's like Rollin' a dice..some time they Roll with you. Sometimes they Dont !!

But if all 3 are used Its either shot, caught ,Tracked or AWAY !! Cant be any Fairer than That

Not actively however I was not opposed to it.

 

 

I have no strong views either way upon it although I have contacted MPs regarding the repeal to gain their stance on the matter as it affects my own interest (hares).

 

 

Going out to watch fell packs this Winter as I have had an invite from a friends family member and have seen the Bewcastle and Cumberland Farmers a few times over the years..

 

 

Previously I was attempting to see all sides of argument and find some of the statements on here not only ridiculous but ignorant..

 

 

Each to their own and all that bull shite, I could not give a toss what anyone gets up to as long as it does not directly affect me and my sport..
