Having been out with charts lamping and see his performance first hand iv got a honest opinion. picture the scene me n him and his dog delta over a fence wind in our face a field full of rabbits i says go you have the run first to which he replied im not running my dog as theres SHEEP in the field ,and he didnt next. he,s got lighthouse syndrome with the lamp feckin unbeleivable, he told me first hand and he cant deny it that his dog had never had more than TEN rabbits in a night some feat eh . next if you can rember the dog delta nearly broke its legs because you wanted to show how the dog could jump a metal gate after the dog was fecked and its legs got caught in the top bars rember that i told you about that as well.

the icing that iv kept to myself for a few years was when you slipped the dog on its first rabbit when you were out with me and danny and bruce and it fecked off and hunted up for nearly fifteen minutes chasing every rabbit off the fell .you may have a good dog now but dont think that because its done bits n bobs its something special,we do it every time we go out but dont need to big up our dogs or say iv done this or that to the same extent as you .I told danny i would never take you out again thats how much pissed off i was on our first and last night out .Richie look no further than Danny because the the other stuff or gossip as you say it is came from him directly to me. moll. millet. and a good few others . a good little un or a good big un as long as it does its job :thumbs: works for me,,,,, rant over

 

Well, I wasn't going to reply on this topic again, but I'll clear one or two thins up ! I'ts admirable that you defend your mate, but lets stick to factsl

 

You are correct about the sheep, but lets expand on it..... I didn't know if you were allowed to run sheep fields on your pemission, so I did'nt on that 1st one. When I saw that it was ok to, I did run the next fields and you saw my dog catch in those fields and she was/is completely stock safe !

 

Yes she did jump a gate, she was in the field with YOU. and jumped over to Me, at no time did she catch her legs, that simply is untrue.

 

Lighthouse Syndrom; YOU defended me against those very allegations, on here, in the past.

 

Yes the dog did dissaper for a few minutes once, she was very young and never did it again, the TWICE, not once, that I've been out with you;

 

Ten Rabbits, Of course she had only killed 10 rabbits in a night at that time, once again, she was very young. You yourself have witnessed her kill more than that ! They were laid out in your garden, remember. while you took pics !

 

As for only taking me out once and never again, not only have we been out MORE than once, but before Danny and Millet/Moll fell out, you offered me nights out, on the phone and in person !!

 

I'm sorry you've took sides in this Col, If you are all pissed of at what danny has or hasn;t done, Why involve me ? I've had nothing to do with danny for over two years !

A simple word of warning,be very,very careful whom you choose to share a day or night in the field with,some of them will be more interested in looking for faults and missed opportunities,which at a later date they will be more than willing to dredge up,usually as part of a petty feud or vendetta.Back on point,a bigger type lurcher,imo,is a much better prospect in the field and should never struggle with a bunny,certain smaller lurchers would obviously be much better suited to bunny bashing,on the whole,but how many people really want a dog that will be used soley for scutters,if rabbits are your choice go with something best suited to them,if you have a broader outlook on hunting with jukels then big is most usually better,i know smaller dogs have excelled at variety,but not to the same extent as their larger cousins.

think some we dogs would suprise alot of people with what they can do its pretty certain a big dog will do it quicker but a small dog is just as capible atb

22.5" was my best dog, nothing ever seemed to be a bother for her. And funnily enough due to this i never ever though of her a being a 'small' dog, in fact i never really noted her size unless someone else mention it.

I havent had a dog bigger than 21tts for the past 25 years before that the biggest was a collie grey at 28tts and what a dog he was but get more fun out my smaller dogs atb

listen richie iv no need to defend anyone i know the facts as i was there a few mins you said the dog was away try over ten i was the judge that night and was goin to add the extra time on for danny FACT !! you asked me not to write that incident in the story about the run off so i did until now according to you before hand you were taking bigger game with the dog while out with danny then you say it was only a young dog you were told that the whole farm was sheep and let the dog have a run if it acted itself to sort it then and there FACT,

you were on the road with me not in the field and i saw the dog hung up on the fence because you wanted to show the dog jumping i told you to lift the dog over because it was feeling the pressure from all the runs it had ,you had told me yourself that on that night delta had caught over her personal best and never before had she been into double figures those rabbits on my lawn were from the run off as for the two time s out the first was with you and danny thats when i told danny never again and the second i was judging for you on the lamping comp now how manny times have you been out with me since none ,,,,richie you boil my piss sometimes , i dont tell lies either
