weasle 1,119
I get a full shift out of my 14 running a striker,Trouble is you buy one if when it breaks theres no way you will go back to carrying a heavy dry cell again so you have to buy another.Ian b sells them on here. Ive had 2 in 3 seasons and the one i have now had to go back to be repared. So if i were you i would make sure i get it from some one reptubable who will back you up if you need to send it back, rather than saving a tenner and having to buy another in 10 months.I use arthur carter. We all used to carry the dry cells but you get used to not doing.

redcharge 378
No you wont need a new lamp, just chop the cigarrette plug off the end of the battery connector and crimp your lamp cables to it I dont know how I got by without mine I have the 22Ah and have never used it all in one night infact I usually get a couple of nights lamping before it needs charging, the 14Ah is plenty Imho. Giro 2,648
If I chop the battery connecter will that void warrenty??
Millet 4,497
I have had a 10amp one for over 3yr's Giro and it's been spot on it been used quite a lot but not hammered..i now have a 22amp one that is just as light as the 10amp one but with the added bonus of a power level indicator on it which is handy..as these batteries don't die slowly on you they just go dead instantly with no warning.. You don't need to buy a new lamp either if your's is working spot on..just alter the wiring to suit you..the lithion ion batteries come with the female cigar lighter attatchment for the lamp.. As for the best place shop around..i get mine from Ian but then again i only have a 1min walk to his house so no postage is required.. ..
