now there you go again bluebandit are the the spokesperson for the cheaters or something, your butting in on something thats nothing to do with you and defending people who talk behind your back about you and your dogs lol wake up and think before you type. and no offence martin but you turning up with more greyhounds and a non ped whippet(or did you find some papers for the one you found on the road too) would hardly of helped now would it. ill tell yas when you stand close and say nothing at a gamefair you hear some stuff, its better than a thriller.

Man but I'm glad the hunting season has started.lol

Martin, you most likely did tell the truth about Ernie when you let him out to stud but when people try to sell the pups as full bred whippets is where the problem lies over here when it comes to flapp

Just glad I never went !   Nothing sinister about Ginger Jacks breeding !   Ginger Jack 25`` and 58lbs is by Ningbo Jack mated to the well known Enniscorthy lurcher bitch Ginger, owned by John C

Ur tellin everyone ur opinion an no1 wants 2 here it either ur moanin over what who cares if there cheatin an how is mccoys cheating runnin lurchers an a pedigree whippet an fiona is runnin lurchers aswell so how can they be cheating or is it because they have something better than everyone else

i think your gettin your posts mixed bb as i never mentioned mc coys or fiona. no harm in the mc coys whippet at least its a full whippet but is the one you had the same, i think not!!and guess what. it won.to let you in on why im talkin out is i was goin to get a whippet to race at the days and at the clubs,as i have got to like the racing, but whats the point of goin and buying a pedigree race dog if someone walks in with a non ped every big event and then when papers are brought in to try to stop the cheating then these people appear with papers.i have been speaking to a couple of people who are trying to sort out ways to make it harder to cheat but its sad that they have to do this.you got involved by saying nothing when you know whats going on.your pretty quick to shout about everything but the truth. thats about all there is to say on it as its over and i do hope it gets sorted next year because its ruining the fairs. good hunting kev

Was looking forward to this day out on Sunday but ended up at Crufts.

As the rain poured, dogs slid off the 'show tables' - what's with the tables - last time my dog was on a table was at the vets getting his jabs.

And all the fancy show leads, last minute hairbrushing of dogs in the ring, dogs afraid of walking in the cowpats and stingers.

Just glad I never went !

Nothing sinister about Ginger Jacks breeding !

Ginger Jack 25`` and 58lbs is by Ningbo Jack mated to the well known Enniscorthy lurcher bitch Ginger, owned by John Carroll. Got given him as a pup for the service which I had given to the lads, who did me a turn and brought and kennelled a bitch for me that was going to Wexford vet Ray Cuddihy to have systs removed from her overies. She had 11 pups and I got Ginger Jack !

Winnie just under 23`` and 44 lbs is by a Wexford dog called Murt owned by Martin Kenny, who was unbeatable for years down that way mated to a full bred Coursing bitch called Marwood Type. I bought her after she won a 32 dog stake in Enniscorthy last November.

Ernie 22`` 30 lbs is by Racing Champion Vivs Quest out of the legendary Supreme Racing Champion Show Three. I never claimed that Ernie was a pedigree Whippet ! He is recognised in the UK as a non-pedigree Racing Whippet, but over here some class him as a Lurcher, that`s where the problem lies ! Now retired due to a serious back injury.

Dill as he is known, was picked up in the car park at Clonmel Coursing in 2011 and was never claimed, breeding unknown ? No speed or ability whatsoever, but a mate for Ernie !

Anything else you need to know about these four dogs, please let me know ! Not interested in anybody elses dogs, so don`t bother asking !

The Tally Ho Dog Show and Raceday Saturday 3rd May 2025
As 7am on Saturday morning 3rd May 2025 rang out loud and clear in our house, I crawled out of bed and thanked god for allowing me another day on this beautiful landscape of ours called the Emerald Isle. With the joys of spring in my heart, Mr Fox away on his summer holidays, the work in the field completed for another season, it was show time again on this side of our Island.
Suddenly the seasons were telling me it was Tally Ho show time of the year again and time to get our Canine friends in the show ring and on the race course, for the start of the summer Dog show and Race Days schedule.
Some of us have had joyous occasions in our families since the last showing season, and some of us may have had great sadness, as fate can throw all sorts of problems in the pathway of life. As we dusted ourselves down after our winter woes, Saturday was a day to leave all our cares of yesterday behind and head to Crumlin for  the Tally Ho  annual dog show and race day.  And what a days enjoyment with our loyal Canine friends that was.
The weather was beautiful, but tinged with an east wind that would cut you in two. As we approached the field, we could see very clearly there was very little parking space left. Each year this show grows bigger and better. Peter Morgan being the caring gentleman he is made sure he kept a parking space for the now 2 senior citizens and of which we were very grateful.
By midday the field was full to capacity.  In the show rings there was a big turnout and a great mix of top quality dogs in all categories. 22 races and 28 children in child handling class.
As I moved around the rings, I met up with some old friends and some new ones too. Michael Reilly travelled up all the way from Tipperary. Yapper Hayes came up from Kilkenny and Stephanie O Connor and family and Mc Grath Family travelled up from Carlow.  All great doggie people and support every show and race day North and South of the border.
Stands were situated around the show ground. Paul Boyd with loads of canine supplies/ Alannah Harpur and her sister with some beautiful Tea Shirts and Mugs and Mary Kate Quinn was there with her amazing art work . What an interesting and talented lady to speak to. There was a burger stand on site and 4 toilets dotted all around the field.
Our children as usual were well cared for by the Tally Ho show organiser Peter Morgan, both in the ring and outside it. Two bouncy castles were on site and inside the ring were trophys, medals and big bags of sweets for every child. A real childrens paradise. Some sleepy we people on Saturday night.
Time waits for nobody. The moment had arrived after the long cold winter to get our Canine friends out of the field and into the show ring and on the Race course.

I can honestly say our lives have been enriched with the excellent work and enjoyment you give to many families North and South of the border through your dog show on the day.
Peter we all look forward to your shows as they brighten up our darkest days and brings us away from the trials and tribulations of life, if only for a day. Your show is a credit to you for a one man band, along with all the time and energy you put into them to give us all a great days enjoyment.
Thank you for your friendship over the years and please do not stop running your shows. Yours in Country Sports to we meet again, God Bless.
