I love it when people call them "reds" even seen wanted adverts on facebook for dogs that must do "Zebras or Stripeys" f*****g gimps. I know antis are dumb but give them some credit

Perhaps it is a vain effort by the site administrators to try to save some people from themselves. How many times have we seen folks crying on here about 'the b*******ds' raiding their houses and tak

Well, it looks like my post has opened a can of worms, probably for the good, as some messers are gone, and everyone else knows now what will and won't be tolerated. Obviously anything ilegal should b

May as well change the lurcher section to lamping rabbits and ferreting with lurcher's and change the terrier section to ratting with terrier's keep all the shooting sections and change the name of the forum to The politicaly correct hunting within the law forum  and admit defeat they have won all round

Why rats, rabbit fox, terrier section done properly. Not a problem when legal, its when some idiots post things getting ragged all over, with a photo and about four words. Its like how did we evolve, obviously some are a little delayed..

they should call this site fanny lickers the amount of shit half of ye come out with, just cause most of ye hunt for rossets and have the odd rabbiting trip, dont judge those who go out and test there dogs to the limit on all quarry, and like to share photos with like minded people,if you dont like the photos dont read the topic, anti this anti that thats all you hear on hear most of the time realy pisses me off, whos to say the pics arent preban took over here or oz or usa,if we cant share pics with fellow hunters on a hunting site you are realy letting the antis win

If you were realy testing your dog to the limit on all quarry as you putting you wouldnt be bumping your gums on here or taking pics .....its lads with your attitude that will get hunting with dogs banned over the water like what it is over here .....I still cant believe all these years later there are stillpeople crying about not being able to put pics up of ilegal atctivaties ....no matter how much you think this an unjust law ...thats the way it is until there is a hunting rapeal

There's not a simple quick fix to this problem. The mods have a hard job dealing with this tool magnet forum, there just isn't a simple hard and fast rule to sort it out!

As soon as you say anybody can post pics of hunting trips abroad you will get everybody blagging it as the next 'pre ban' or 'shot and retrieved' when they want to brag about there dogs. FFS if your going to brake the law in your own country try to be a bit imaginative with your made up story.

Each potentially illegal post with whatever get out clause has to be judged by the folks in charge and if it seems a bit suss then whether it was genuinely legal or not it's gotta go. If ya can't stomach that then tough shit and feck off. The mods didn't want the shitty law anymore than the rest of us but it's their job to have to deal with the consiquences of it on this site.

Whether you're the 'real deal' or not, if you can't get ya head round that the forum is a better place without you.

It is legal in the north to run hare with dogs as long as it's not an organised event (public paying in to watch ect) 2 dogs in a field running hares you can't be done for

Are you for real? All hare coursing is illegal if you deliberately slip a dog on a hare. The only legal way to use a running dog, or any dog for that matter, on hares, is to shoot the hare first and send the dog to retrieve the shot hare.

No wonder the site is in the mess it is if even hunting men don't know the law!

Ain't it a shame when someone as well known as you is telling people there wrong when it's you who is clearly wrong ... I quoted a post about Ireland and coursing and said in the north , as in northern Ireland it's legal. We ain't under uk law it is still legal to hunt fox here and hare with dogs ...

Amen, yes we don't like the law, it affects all of us... Its not the genuine lads like yourself, your in the minority you can actually write a post. Its the idiots who are blatantly not caring, it attracts attention even more.

Look at it this way...with the media against us and idiots driving everywhere, killing animals and leaving them were they drop, then sending each other videos and photos of there machines...How hard will it be for anyone in the future to respect people, kids and the new generation wanting to hunt legally with lurchers.. When we try to protect the sport, people are posting images of dogs hawking stuff about, police pulling them, locations being hot, there absolute idiots..

There is a fine line to tread when running a hunting site, a closed vouched for site is no safer than an open site but has the advantage of being moderated and controlled better, whereas a more commercialised site that relies on threads and posts for revenue is compromised in how the site is run,

eg; threads and posts which are damaging get locked rather than deleted therefore keeping the post numbers up, on other smaller sites the offensive threads would be deleted immediately.

Just because a site only allows vouched for members doesn't mean it is full of idiots or illegal posts whereas open forums are a magnet to all the clowns who are only to happy posting damaging threads that brings our sport into disrepute, unfortunately there is no easy answer as both types of forums have their pros and cons.
