My old dog covered my bitch today,(I hope)

I have tried a to get my bitch covered by a dog a few times but each time she would not let a dog near her,she once broke 2 muzzels and nearly took the hand of my mate and the head off his dog,but i have left her in the pen with my old 3/4 greyhound 1/4 collie dog for her last 5 heats and he never got near her,but today i held her for the dog and she let him up,they never locked up but he done everything else bar get stuck to her,i wasn't gona breed her ,but she is 6 now and the dog is 10 so i would be delighted to get a pup from the 2 of them,and a few friends will be happy to take some on aswell,so fingers crossed he done the job without sticking to her but i will try them again later once the ole lad has had a good break

well lad if all they make are rabbit dogs ,they wont be anything like either parent ,and i wont be keeping one

nice ,1 JDog,i never like the idea of breeding first litters from bitchs over 5 ,most i have come across had had problems,but with the dog getting on i really wanted something from him and i thought the bitch would never take a dog,but i will keep her fit and keep the few quid aside just incase i have any bother and she needs help at my vet,thats if he has caught her but i will try them again and hopefully they will get locked so there will be a much better chance

if she comes in pup the pups would be 2/16 collie ,2/16 wheaten 1/16 bull and 11/16 greyhound,i know it doesn't always work like that but thats just if i was to break it down

3 would be good but a good litter with a good mixture so you can get a good pick off them what would you keep dog or bitch

I would favour to bitch but,you never know hopefully they would be hard to pick dog or bitch ,but what ever takes my liking at around 6 or 7 weeks
