Why would a dog aggressive dog be any more likely to attack a child than any other dog?   Are all your working lurchers potential child killers?   Drivey dogs have no place in public places end of

G, I've got a dog here that will never be getting off the lead in a public place, I won't muzzle him because I hate them, but I've had a little insight into what he can do and won't be risking it agai

It's not goin to attack a kid because it's steamed into a spaniel . Think everyone should been shown how to break a dog properly before being allowed them. It shouldn't take a minute let alone 5 to stop any dog

always got an opinel in my pocket ;)

Maybe it wouldn't attack a kid but it might attack a dog at the end of a lead being held by some kid... I'd tell the woman that if the dog didn't have a muzzle on it the next time I saw it in public there'd be consequences..

Can't stand that breed. Shame though cause in the right hands, they are prob fine. However the bad ones out way the good ones

. The staff is a loyal well behaved breed who has been in and around every city in britain for ove 100 years. In the last. Decade it's been dragged through the mud. The terrier in the right hands is stable. In the wrong hands and brought up to be a status syble. Teeth on legs , Blame the breed yes. THE HUMAN THAT OWNS IT Edited by gonetoearth

Any dog attacking dog or human unprovoked in public no matter what breed should be dealt with accordinngly. I didn't think working dog men would attack the breed for what it's done with a blanket statement that they hate the breed. People like that gave the breed a bad name from the start and is where it is today because of it. The dog shouldn't have been in the public house if it was known to have been "off" around its own kind, especially on the chance it would. I agree with strong stuffs comment.

educate the owner of what he needs to do when the dogs out and about. simple measures can prevent it happening.

you say your dog no damage.. what about the dogs mental side of things??

Give her the choice.. we take a trip up the field with the gun or vets.. or its getting reported!

If the dog has attacked dogs or people before it should be PTS. No ifs or buts..DEAD

It might be good with kids/people. but its attacking dogs which is no excuse!
