There's nowhere in the British Isles I wouldn't travel for the right dog. After all, I'd probably have it for the next 10 - 15 years !! If someone won't travel less than 100 mile for a pup, perhaps th

Surely you have a friend or relative who could drive you? Failing that, there's always the train.

Well, no, that ISN'T what you said............... But good luck with your search, hope you get what you want

Arranged our family holiday 2 years ago to pick up my bitch, told the Missus we'd have a great time in blackpool and on the way home we could get the Pup from stoke, I'm in exeter. I'd been working in congelton but the pup wasnt ready before the job had finished after looking at her and both parents decided I wanted her and made it happen, likes been said if its the right dog for you distance shouldn't be an issue..... Good luck in your search though.....

You are probably right...maybe i`m not into dogs the way i am into guns so i will wait until i have your approval :tongue2: like i said its not my chosen sport and never will be.

I would never arrange a holiday around my sport....my wife would kill me. And once again for the people who didnt read the full thread i dont drive and wouldnt ask anybody to drive me 10 hours to pick up a dog (that i dont deserve :hmm: to have) thanks for the replies but i will stick to my original plan and buy from the "guy next door"

Mate really not having a go at you at all and never said you didn't deserve a dog, just you won't always find what you want on your doorstep..... We had decided to holiday home and not abroad anyway I just coaxed her into going in the direction of a pup I wanted... As I said good luck in your search and hopefully what you want is on your doorstep....
