A few shots of the dogs

Recommended Posts

spot on mate, you certainly know how to keep dogs :thumbs:

Cheers mate  , The lab is almost 7 now but you can't tell her that, she still tries to keep up with the whippets. I still let her out the car on a 3 mile lane and she just runs at the side of the car with the saluki x both ways!!, Just can't tire her out, she's also dogging birds back to the wood for at least an hour a day.

superb mally, top condition. If that was in bad light, then i'd love to see good light pics lol.

Had to set the iso to 1250 to get a shutter speed of 800 when usually in good light i'd set the iso between 200-320 to get the same shutter speed. Always the bloody same when i want to get a few shots of my own dogs!!

A shot in better light

Makes me laugh when someone says the light was crap but managed to get a few shots: then posts loads of superb photos :tongue2::laugh:

All very awesome pics: but I particularly like the fourth one of the Whippet coming head on: lovely catch light in the eyes.

I've had to sharpen most of them Penny due to the high iso and using a slower shutter speed than i would have used if the light had been better. I was using my 100-400 is usm lense and it's f4.5-5.6 wish i'd have put the 70-200 2.8L is usm on but left it at home... It's always the same when i want a few shots of my own dogs. You can see i'm not happy with them as i haven't put a watermark through them.
