gnipper 6,467
How many times a day do you feed it? My whippet was the same but a raw diet a couple of times a day was the best I found.

Sirius 1,391
To put weight on a dog it will be trial and error to find what the dog does best on, personally i would stick with a raw diet/natural diet as you do have the benefit of being able to tailor the food to suit the dog. Chicken/tripe mince as a base and add some veg, chicken wings and offal. You can also add something like Slippery Elm Powder/Tree Barks powder it will help slow the passage of food and increase absorption of food. The most important thing is to feed in several (2-3) small meals per day, as this way the dog will make better use of its food. Good luck Sirius Edited August 29, 2012 by Sirius
