To put weight on a dog it will be trial and error to find what the dog does best on, personally i would stick with a raw diet/natural diet as you do have the benefit of being able to tailor the food to suit the dog. Chicken/tripe mince as a base and add some veg, chicken wings and offal. You can also add something like Slippery Elm Powder/Tree Barks powder it will help slow the passage of food and increase absorption of food.

The most important thing is to feed in several (2-3) small meals per day, as this way the dog will make better use of its food.

Good luck Sirius

what food for taken the weight off or any tips on less food/advice lol i leave my whippet out of season to beef up only this year it seems to be taken twice as long getting him back fit! well worth the wait or is it :hmm::toast:

Increase it's exercise and reduce its food, simple. It won't happen overnight though.
