The bitch was a 1/2x , and the best busher/ moucher I,v ever had , nippy rather than fast . The dog is a 3/4x and a decent enough dog , lacks the top end and gears of a pure whippet though .

great little dogs big hearts and drive i had a few over the years best was a 3/4 whippet x bull did 34 rabbits up shap fell in good time liked the red uns to atb troter

i must have had a few freaks then because the ones i have owned and ran with did the job atb

They had no issue killing Lads don't get me wrong on that but they just took to much punishment for my liking to do them day in day out. Is tht what you where saying down south?

Thats exactly what i was saying. They were game enough for takeing foxes which was just as well as they took a lot of stick doing it.They were ideal for the job that i bred a litter for which was catching the odd bolted fox or quick catches around cover but as out and out fox dogs they just wernt built for the job and the were bred from a 23in 44lb Mike Brown whippet to a 19 1/2 in 42lb bull bitch. For the lads that have seen or owned these fox killing Bull/Whippets what sort of numbers and with what regularity are we talking.

very good post i have a whippetxgrey i was tinkn about puting a bull across her as a few people i no said they would like a pup but would this b to much bull in the pups?

Your bitch might struggle to squeeze big bull headed pups out. A whip/grey over a bull would be safer.
