Hi lads

Wanna keep it short.

I'm a spark. Was stripping out a job and got a battery out an alarm panel, it's a lead np7 - 12, 12v, 7 Ah. Question is how long would it last on a night out with a million candle power lamp?

Any good or shite?

I used to use 7 ah batteries. One on the lamp and one as a spare. They will last a couple of hours lamping.

i used to use 2 12v 8amp batterys wired together with a stricker 170 and if i was out all night they would start to go flat at the end of the night so i would think a 7 amp would not last that long on a million candle power !

Does anyone know where I can get cheap 12 v 10ah or 12ah batteries online? I used to get them from rapidonline.com but the termals are quite weak and have snapped.

It's all depend's on how much game you are chasing on the chosen night..on average if you are not chasing load's i would say a 3 to 4hr session is about right..

a light force 140 50 watt bulb will use about 3-4 amps an hour roughly

A few years back I used a 7 amp battery with a Cluson lazerlight [50 watt bulb], regularily got 3 hours out of it but as has been said it depends how much you are using it when your out.

go to a main dealers of ride on mowers and get a 12 v 18 amp last u 2 good night s lamping there dry cell light and i have mine about 3 years now only 35 euro
