BOB , CUMBRIAN QUEEN ????? ANY OTHER GOOD PUPS

Sounds like a good cross Tyson, Ive just bred something similar myself out of my old collie/greyhound bitch, keep us posted how your pup out of Bob gets on. Bob seems to be throwing some fast, lethal dogs that know how to use their mouths

 

Best dog it ever threw was a dog called Solo from County Durham,his dam was a Minshaw bitch,Solo has taken double figure of hares on the lamp, and takes daytime hares, had 72 rabbits in a night solo, deer, things with teeth, beats with the local shoot and even retrieves ducks off water.

 

But whether its Bob or the Minshaw bitch who gives him the class, we'll never know

 

wel if you like that sort of thing its pretty good , but im strictly daytime mate just long ears.

i prefer saluki based stuff , so minshaw aint really my thing , n this pup aint my usual cuppa tea , but its a gift from a relative who wants me to try n make summat of it , but i think it may lack a gear for winter hares

Good stuff Tyson, through the daytime is the true test of a dog I would say the blue colour comes from either the whippet, greyhound or collie, all 3 breeds have blues in them, I dont think you get blue salukis, but I could be wrong. Post some pics up when you get your pup, heres mine (I have decided I am keeping the dog now as they are near enough a matching pair )

Well done mate

but these are slightly different bred , the dam is a collie x greyhound , so maybe the collie will knock a gear out of them , i definatley dont think they will be much stamina in my pup

Solo WAS bred out a minshaw bitch called Chelsea, it was bred by ASD out of Bulpa and Jess, just ask ASD

If you mean the best dogs you know are daytime only then i probably couldnt argue with you, but Solo is the best 'allrounder' has i said in my last post, you know Solos owner Darren from Durham and i think he would beg to differ with you too

thats right bunny basher, i do know darren, and solo must be a good dog for him to of kept it so long, i had a couple of bitch pups from it a few year back, but they didnt make out special, infact darren got one back..snoop has a grandson of solo through one of them bitches, but my own dog from bob isnt just a coursing dog either, he gets lamped regular, mainly rabbits, but has a few nights on hares under the belt, takes deer and fox(although he is no fox dog)
