stealthy1 3,964
Good shooting Moley, you have the makings of a small BBQ meal there Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
And a ruddy head ache when one rape seed stuffed pigeon fell on it! 1 Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
I'm on it Mole, just writing to Dragons Den with my new pigeon helmet design... Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
Hope you're insured. Possible whiplash claim there, do you have representation? (one of the symptoms in the USA) Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
The markings on the airborne head strike were obscured, I removed the camouflage material from the posterior but no painted registration marks were there. Unfortunately I had signed a waiver obviating the owner of the land from injury claims. I am getting a camo tin hat, a la Dads Army I think.... Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
Hit by an uninsured, unregistered, unlicensed pigeon. Pushes all our premiums up. Hooligans the lot of em. Like the tin hat idea though, when you're done, flip it over and cook em in. it. Nice! Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Precisely and the permission does have a lovely crop of field mushrooms and no they ain't the magic variety either, rabbits have been eating them and I have not seen any rabbits freaking out in the woods.... Damned big mushrooms and all, about 5-8 inches in diameter... Edited August 24, 2012 by secretagentmole Quote Link to post
milegajo 595
Ohhh a piccy would be great. Would go great in the stew. I've only seen liberty caps and they're naughty chums here. I very much treasure my cognitive abilities so those little devils can stay intact. Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
I will see if I can get a few photos for you, remember all mushrooms are edible, just some are only edible once.... (a Croatian proverb) Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
Tonight the rabbit is being committed to lie in a casserole dish, along with half a pound of black pudding, 1 carrot, 1 onion, half an apple, half a pint of stock, half a teaspoon of mixed herbs and a dash of the magic Worcestershire sauce... 180 degrees for 1 hour, 150 degrees for 2 hours. Serve with savoury scones and mashed spuds! Will report on the recipe results later, Quote Link to post
secretagentmole 1,701
It has been committed now to memory, result of meal, burp, very tasty! Quote Link to post
