short legged jrts

Has anyone got any that work ? Pictures.

What work do you do with them and how do they compare to the taller jrts, would a jrt of about 10 inches tall be any good underground, bushing, ratting etc

What about bushing ratting etc ?

one of my jrts he is the only short legged terrier i have good busher and ratter but he can fined it a bit harder on the longer days out

My Dad had a his own line of these russells back in the 80's and early 90's, not lookers at all but they were excellent workers to ground (bayers mainly) and general bushing and not at all yappy/ nutter like many you see about nowadays. Shame he lost his last bitch to ground at 11 (retired at this point, but in the wrong place at the wrong time) and her daughter we kept back got hit by a car, great little dogs they were, small but very stocky powerful little dogs.

ive got a 9 inch jrt a very very good bushing bitch very good nose and works all day long shes caught loads of rabbits and flushed plenty of bigger stuff straight towards you no good at earth work to small so dont stay to long but i can call her out anyway so you can go bushing any where with her even if you shoudnt be there
