lurcherlad_2010 35
As title says what's your views on m3m is it worth buying and would you'd recommend it? Cheers lurcherlad Quote Link to post
tegater 789
Yes its great mate, but read the instructions on how to use it. The mark 1 will always be better to some, just like the Ford Capri was the best boy racer car ever made 1 Quote Link to post

tegater 789
Yer had the mk1 looking a upgrade n get with time lol sorry if it offends the old skool In the back of my head, I seem to remember Ideation saying something like they are not that robust, or something similar. Now I only use mine 6-8 times a month, for half the year, and it hasnt let me down. I think he uses his loads more than that.!! Quote Link to post

northern lad 2,292
Over priced, temperamental piece of SHITE,add me to the dunces corner too.As a builder i use all sorts of electronic gadgets(digital estimators, lasers plc,s,kettles, radios )without doubt this is one of the poorest things I have had the misfortune to use .Never mind getting used to it,studying the manual time and again .A product in this price range should be absolutely idiot proof, why can i buy a pipe/stud detector for a third of the price that will accuratley find even the smallest cables etc INSIDE a fecking brick wall why does this product retail at £170 when it can be manufactured for 20/30 quid .On the plus side it is bright orange so you can find it ,when you have thrown it across the largest of fields (once found it can be sold, then said cash will pay for a MK1)anybody wanting any further product reviews please contact me via THL regards S.Hawkins 1 Quote Link to post
Jamie m 668
I will admit why is it so flimsy ?????? Price ??????? But has anyone come up with a new one nope , so mk3 it is Quote Link to post
Guest vin
Ive thrown mine about for the last couple of seasons and its been fine with no problems..put a good quality 9v in the receiver and same in collars..it does make a difference...those cheap poundland batteries are a waste of money..you need to power up the thing properly...you can tell 9v batts on it way out by the way the receievr starts bleeping out and going haywire etc etc...my mate was convinced his was not working until he put a decent 9v battery inside it. only thing that gets me annoyed is the way the sliding buttons on the side for on/off and locate/search are very prone to collecting the mud from your hands etc etc when digging..if its a damp nasty day the receiver seems to get bunged up with mud and then the buttons sound all scratchy and dodgy when your sliding them up and down,I think this will eventually lead to a problem...so far so good though..and I've given mine some serious hammer.
