The Duncan 802
If I was the type to get violent when drinking, I simply wouldn't drink.

Born Hunter 17,751
I don't drink and never have. Not for any particular reason other than I hate the stuff and so never really became a 'drinker'. I used to hate having to explain to people I don't drink, makes it awkward sometimes when asked for a night out but ya know it's gonna be a drinking night out and the person asking doesn't realise ya don't drink and I feel a right boring b*****d. I genuinely believe not drinking at all holds ya back a bit and kinda wish I did, but feck it I am what I am. Doubt I could afford it now anyway, or it would get messy very quickly! Lab 10,979
i cant quit..... everyday i wake up saying tonight i wont drink, all day at work i say i wont have any tonight but then i drive past a shop with a big flashing sign in it saying "COLD, REFRESHING LAGER ON SPECIAL OFFER" or get a phone call of someone in a pub and im drawn like a moth to a light,,,,,, i no its sad and i should quit BUT that first sip of a cold, crisp pint is soooooo fecking nice and then after that theres no stopping till im steamin,,,,,, the thing is there is no real way to get away from beer, its for sale in every shop and every pub/club/resturant etc sells it!! its alright saying about will power and all that palaver but when you are young and dont give a f**k its easy to rack the years up on drink, then all of a sudden you have drank over half your life and stopping a long habit aint easy...... maybe its time to grow up and get help..... please dont take the piss it was hard admitting that as im sure not many of you guessed,,,,,,,, Why dont you try and buy 2 tins instead of the 3 you usually buy and then you wont come across as a f*****g drunkard.....................glad to help mate....lol

spade 224
I went off the rails for a good few years back and was pissed or hungover most of the time. I was then put permanently on antibiotics because I am classed as immuno-compromised (no spleen) and had to cut right back. Hardly touch a drop now and when I do its usually a couple of glasses of red.

Richie10 345
Drinking is brilliant, love a cold lager in summer, winter ales in the colder months, stay off the spirits personally. Sometimes I might have a few too many, other times a social few. Nothing better than ending the day out in the field with a nice beer.
