Squirrel_Basher 17,100 Posted September 10, 2012 Report Share Posted September 10, 2012 What some people are trying to say ,indeed worrying about is the lack of basic knowledge from some people who are trusted with guns and worse still trusted by farmers to carry out control of pests with their say so .Before ever thinking about killing an animal many of us feel the need to study its habits ,to know the creature inside out and that goes for me too.How the hell anyone can mistake an animal is beyond me and many others that use the forum.Lucky it was a mink but had that been a pine martin it would still be dead and you would still have posted it wouldnt you because you know no better .Please take the time to study our flora and fauna before deciding on its future fate . Went into the coup to have a look and I nearly £&@£ myself!!! It was a stoat!!! Closed the door and ran back to get my shotgun, opened the door once loaded up hid behind the door and allowed it to be in a safe area to be shot. One happy farmer http://i1070.photobu...07741EC389E.jpg you need to take time,this is wrong.never shoot ufo's.unidentified furry objects,do more nature study less trigger sqeezin so this does not happen again,do you work for a company?or yourself,are you suppose to be qualified?your lucky some people kicked your ass over this my boot is with them,become a self critique you may enjoy putting right the wrongs,lots to learn from this.positive results can come from this mistake,to someone who knows its like a bee and a wasp difference.if you work in pest control i would suggest you do some serious foundational study as you clearly cannot see that difference,lots to learn this may help you become better and safer.learning never ends so step back look at and critique your own ability then correct your weak points.
