Guest Ditch_Shitter
Sounds like his second testosterone surge, mate. Try this: Put a half check collar on him (Martindale? Martingale? Collar with a ring at each end and a chain through those. Strong Stuff can probably sort ye out) Then attatch a good lead and bring him into the sort of situation likely to cause him to play up. When he goes to start, tell him to sit. He'll likely ignore ye. Soon as he does so, rip him sideways. Then tell him to sit. You are His Pack Leader. He f*cking well does as You decide. He doesn't try to second guess ye. Just reinforce that small point in his mind and he'll get over it. Quote Link to post

Ditch gotta agree martindale collars are the best traiing collar i have used, my 6 year old dobermann still wears one all the time and it is great for controlling them. gun smoke sounds like a young terrier dog letting its balls drop, need to let him know you are in charge good luck. nelson 0
Difficult this mate, you'll want him to be a dog and boss a situation no doubt but he needs to know his place. If you used him on his own would it make any difference ?. Just a thought. Quote Link to post
