Guest cookiemonsterandmerlin
Because I like to do everthing else on diffrent scale to everbody else I thought feck it why bother with all this spade lark and bought one I bought a bulldog rabbiter last year for ferretting and post hole digging a great little light shovel small enough so your not digging masses of dead needless soil ,but big enough to make a hole to get the rabbit out of . The smooth mounth gives a little protection to the ferret being dug as the long shovel can be sharp and pierce the last few inchs into the tube quickly without the digger knowing . So nice items on this site http://www.sporkgardentools.com/Store/tabid/62/CatID/673/Spades.aspx ATB Cookie 1 Quote Link to post
Bossie 90
I use a foldable spade from the army. Cheap and strong, downside is that it is not very big. Quote Link to post
Sirius 1,391
I use a foldable spade from the army. Cheap and strong, downside is that it is not very big. I find the army folders useless on a dig, they wobble and fold up. I have always found a solid little spade superior. I got mine from some mates that work for the water board, they call them teaspoons, thet are a small round mouth spade. Edited August 21, 2012 by Sirius Quote Link to post
