Daihatsu sportrak: what are your views?

Have been looking for a SWB auto Vitara for a few weeks, but have just found a Sportrak Auto for £800

its a 92 (import named Rocky) Years MOT and 70k on the clock.

 

What are parts like for these. Are they any good? just want somthing to carry the dogs in and a bit of light off roading for beats etc.

 

Would it be worth a punt?

Only problem is that its some 500 miles away from me (needing an auto i dont have a huge choice)

Advice/ views would be welcome.

Had one of these, not an auto though, good wee 4x4 and couldn't get it stuck if I tried.

its the same as an English one bud so parts are easy to find where abouts are you ?

Im in Suffolk, so would be a long trip but may be worth it!

 

The Grand vit is in too good a condition to turn in to a mobile dog kennel. Not to mention the other half has got rather protective over it, lol!

Look'd at reviews on net and havnt really seen anything negative yet!

Would a K reg be carb or injection?

If its a Rocky, im sure that is a Fourtrak not a Sportrak, the Sportrak is called the Feroza,

 

my brother has a Sportrak, good little mortors perfect as little a hunting bus/off road toy, seats fold up in the back with minimal effort, comfy not too loud all in all good, obviously i dont tell him that and constantly say how superior my series landy is
