vet for vasectomy

im in donegal and im interested in getting my hob done ,i spoke to my local vet and she said that the procedure was too dangerous for the animal giving its size and all.anyway she wont do the job.any help guys would be appreciated

My uncle in bournemouth did mine and i watched it seemed fairly straightforward.. that was a couple years ago before i got rid of all mine

where in donegal are you? i got my jill spayed in muff/donegal just outside derry, cost me 58 euro i think, but i was told they've done ferrets before, cant see why they wont do hobs, thinking of getting my hob done aswell once i price a few places.

Used to be able to use St Elmos in Muff but they moved to Derry and aparently the ferret folk don't work there anymore so I now use All creatures in limavady. Bit of a trek for you but set me back around £50, then if you want them to sent a tube sample to the lab it's around an extra £20.

st elmo's is still operating in muff, and i only got my jill done march/april past there, where ypu speaking to them directly? i found them quiet good, heard all creatures is decent too.

Could be wrong then was something I heard from a friend that they had moved to skeoge estate in derry due to some fall out or other between the owners. I just knew that the person who used to know alot about ferret anatomy doesn't work there anymore so looked for somewhere new a year ago. All creatures in limavady have a guy there who knows all the scientific mumbo jumbo and have the correct textbooks to back it up. Plus anytime there is even a slight mixup in things he happily throws me a discount, which in my mind is a mark of a decent vet who isn't totally about the money.
