blazerlight

I used to lamp with a lazorlight in the 90,s and to be honest god knows how i managed the beam seems so weak now. So last season changed the reflector and the bulb to blazerlight standard and it is slightly better, however i still find the beam too weak compared to my old coleman 800,000 or a present lightforce. In fields any bigger than a postage stamp for me they just don't cut the mustard anymore. They don't light up the quarry enough and don't throw a good enough beam of any length, its a shame because there a cracking little handy sized very robust lamp with the sidelight which is a godsend at times, its just they don't seem powerful enough these days. Just my thoughts  Cheers Atb

Preban maybe just for rabbits, but other things can take a dog a fair way in the beam and the lazerlight wont cut it for that  Atb

Hit the nail on the head there Freelance when the laserlite first came out it was a cracking little lamp and with a cowl and easy filter attatchment it took some beating on the bunnie's even bigger stuff pre 2004..but the newr one's just don't throw a good enough beam out anymore..they have changed the design some how for the worse..

I moved onto the lightforce 170 with a 100w bulb a good few year's back and i now have a 170 with a 75w bulb for extra battery life..and the beam is second to none..because they is no work light like on the laserlite i just stick a little LED light in my pocket. :victory:
