177 for now. used to use 22 and started with a 22 springer, as already stated both affective if put in the right place.

.22 for general day time shooting and night time ratting where i know ranges.

 

.177 for NV work or lamping rabbits.

.22 and .177, took the .22 out again last night, had a cracking shot with it, through the fork in the branch of one tree to a pigeon about 4 metres behind, well chuffed with that shot! Not only coping with the angle of elevation but threading it through the branches, yee haw!

.177 sub 12 ftlb and .22 @30ftlb - Both daystates but I would also love a .22 sub 12 Wolf or Ranger to add to the collection.

 

Main hunting of the two is the huntsman in .22 @ 30FTLB, its just awsome ! .177 for in barns where over penetration may be an issue !
