Ghillie2506 3
Hi all, i just had my latest roe buck head measured that i shot in april and i got gold, scored 136 CIC Points. Had seen the buck from the turn of the year and knew he was a good one and very old so kept an eye on him and finally stalked him one afternoon, was in long rashes and had 2 does with him so always tricky with different eyes on the lookout. Anyway, after around 60 min of crawling on my front i lost sight of him but knew the vacinity he was in so got in a position incase he appeared again and after about 20 min i suddenly heard a ruffling sound of rashes and to my side no more than 15 metres away the buck was casualy walking past me so as quietly as i could i managed to get into a position and take a shot and dropped him, after waiting for 10 minutes i went over to see just how much of a beauty he was. Really happy he made gold and that he was a real old boy also who hopefully passed him genes on in the past. My buck is on the left Cheers Johnny 2 Quote Link to post

DKGPestControl 22
Thats pretty heavy! I'm just waiting for mine to dry before I can get is measured, Looks a similar shape size etc hights averages 26cm width is 20.5cm and rear tine is 5.5cm but it only weighs 585gr atm Don't think it is quite heavy enough for gold.
