BenjaminCadd 109
Got my TX200 back from Tony at Sandwell Feild Sports Last week, first time i met him as he was away when i dropped it of, but what a guy had a tea and came to the conclusion that i would get a HW95 Tuned from him around X Mas, had a great chat!. I had the trigger tuned / set up and just a regular service from him for a great price, and belive it or not you can notice the difference less twang for a start and a much crisper trigger! He set it up on Air Arms Diablos and chronoed when i got home and there was only 9fps variant out of the first 20 shot string so pretty good and not even bedded in yet, And the targets speak for them selves, not up to everyones standards but better than i have shot before! 5 shot group at 25yrds 20 Shot Group at 40 yrds a few ones off target but most likely me! Once happy with my zero i was itching to get out so went to a permison who is eager to get rid of his ferrals around his farm yard before he starts moving the harvest grain in, so took of around 7pm and 5 hours later time to call it a night, i was over the moon with the nights shooting, the farmer was more than happy and no doubt the ferrets will be! pianoman 3,587
That's brilliant Benjamin. A superb rifle the TX200. I own both versions and I'd love to know how Tony Wall has improved on an already beautifully smooth and refined firing characteristic. It helps being a great shot though, eh! It would be great to meet you over a civlising cup of tea and talk shooting. Regards. Simon Quote Link to post

Simon Well he is honnest for a start and said he could tune it but he said i would not realy notice much difference, so i just had it serviced so with an new spring and lube along with the trigger set up has seemed to work for me, dont get me wrong it was a great rifle before but it dose seem smoother now, and passed the pellet on top of the scope turret while firing test!. Couldnt be happier. 1 Quote Link to post

davyt63 1,845
hi Ben that's really good grouping i bet if you checked all your pellets before they go in to the breech, you will have tighter groups, even if you weighed them ? but i would be happy with that groups and well done on the feral clearance Quote Link to post
zini 1,939
First class shooting there Ben and well done Tony again . Si. Quote Link to post
BenjaminCadd 109
Thanks, yes that will be the next stage, weighing the pellets and buying a range finder i think, im not gong to say it was a hard job on the ferrals in the barns though they seem to sit tight and not take flight when there mates are dropping, mainly as there was next to no light at a guess. Many Thanks. Quote Link to post
Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
Ive shot at and missed ferals heads with the pellet impacting against metal half an inch above / to the side of their heads and they dont even flinch in low light conditions!! Proper dumb!!! Quote Link to post

Skot Ruthless Teale 1,701
looks nice that. wouldnt mind a TX but they dont seem left hand friendly, with the sharp, spiky cheeekpiece.. its like pianoman said other day 1 in 3 is lefty so air arms should accomodate this fact and MAKE LEFT HANDED STOCKS!!!!! rant over lol Quote Link to post
