Axholmeman 3
First off hello folks! I have just about everything I need to have a couple of hours decoying for pigeons all I need is a field to shoot over. I have a couple lined up but they won't be ready for a while. What is the best way to approach a farmer and ask to shoot over his rape/cereal stubble? I'm not after a permenant permission (although it would be nice). It's not just the approach I need help with it's how do you guys find out which fields belong to which farm? Cheers in advance! Quote Link to post
hotshot2me 31
There's no easy answer to this you just have to approach the nearest farm to the fields you wish to shoot and ask if they own them, it will either be yes or no, but they will usually tell you who does if they don't. and make sure you are polite at all times say that you are attempting to keep the Pigeon population down before new crops go in and would it be possible to shoot the fields, as there are no crops to damage they will normally let you shoot: Dave Quote Link to post
