broonball 38
Iv just bought one, hope this doesn't happen.do you lads leave it all connected up or take it apart every time you're finished? Deben warranty says they won't touch them if they have been fiddled/ fixed.bad crack considering the price. Quote Link to post

Deben warranty says they won't touch them if they have been fiddled/ fixed.bad crack considering the price. i always cut the tape off from around my conector everytime i have finished, the reason being i have the lid closed on the battery pack when out and i need to open it to put the charger in. those deben plugs have always been a pain in the arse even on there other battery packs. but ive learnt to live with it and make my own mod cons 1 Quote Link to post
trigger2 3,133
forgot to say i always leave my lamp pluged in when charging because imo you need to use the lamp connector plug the least amount of times as possibble because they are shit. so i just plug it in and leave it 1 Quote Link to post
freelance 448
Mine fecked up on the connection too, i bought mine off here off IanB. Told him and he exchanged it straight away for another, and sent my return back to deben, credit to him top fella . So when i got my second one i did the same as trigger and taped the top in and put a connector on to take tension off the connector. There a shite design for the amount of money you pay for them, but i wouldn't go back to lugging a 17amp drycell round with me. Cheers Atb 4 Quote Link to post
broonball 38
Iv just been leaving it all connected up, hardly used it tbh as I'm just bringin the pup on now and havin short sessions. Only charged it once but have to say even brand new the plugs are hard to connect. Its a shame as they seem a crackin bit of kit, atb Quote Link to post
