Buster321c 1,010
Beautiful rifle and very accurate in all calibres. Alas not made in a left hand version (they must be mad!) so, I won't be adding one to my collection. SO Si , why dont you get the action alone ( im sure my mate Julian Bond would sort you out a fantastic deal ) and get a stock from CCS ? Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
Hi Craig. Could he do that? Any idea what a Prosport action would cost from new? Otherwise a minter 2nd user Prosport might be the way and sell the stock to offset the Custom Stock item. I'm starting to get a good fuzzy feeling inside about this. I can see it done and finished and it will be brilliant. Thanks mate. Simon Quote Link to post

pianoman 3,587
Looking in on the Custom Stock website. They are only about half an hour from me! CS500 Sporter... Nicely proportioned, practical stock. Would make a good stock for a Prosport or Weihrauch HW80 or HW95. And under £200 brand new! Or CS600 Tyrolean. Classical, beautiful stocks those. And very reasonably priced for a left handed one in Delux walnut. Came from Swiss and Austrian German craftsmen prior to the outbreak of the first world war, for the Aristocratic "White Hunters" and big Game shooters heading for Africa. I've always wanted one on a fine rifle and this just might be "it". Certainly will get on made for my HW80. I'm not going to get a lot of sleep tonight. Quote Link to post

I'm not going to get a lot of sleep tonight. funnily enough, i'm halfway through building a new stock for my ', involving a raised comb and a fore end thats very reminiscent of a s410 but a bit deeper. its a total experiment so i'll leave it at that for now in case its a complete failure lol i was looking at cs's tyrolean not so long back and thinking how much it'd suit an ' so it'll be good to see how yours turns out simon- now learn how to post some pictures up!( i cant talk, i cant do owt with my phone now picturewise...) cheers, wurz Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
John I promise you dear man. As soon as I get a camera, figure how to work it and then figure how to load pictures on this new computer that I'm only still figuring out how to work....I'll post pictures up like no tomorrow. You know I'm a total bloody loss at this modern technology stuff! Have a nice day honey. Simon Edit to add.. That Tyrolean in a dark walnut would look beautiful on an HW80 wouldn't it...?! gurtwurz 792
it certainly would! i think tony wall puts them on his hw95 based banshee, so a grown up hw80 version would look the mutts nuts. 1 Quote Link to post
