As long as we finish above the yid scum and get champions league spot every year finishing the prem in the top 4 I'm happy, it's been that way for as long as I can remember and with the other top 4 teams having silly money to spend I'd say if you think about it Arsenal are doing quite well....constantly losing our best players yet still doing well enough to challenge top teams here and in Europe.

I have been listening to all this nonsense on the radio about footballer conduct and wages and how they will follow out Olympians in being a great example blah blah   Let me tell you, people expect

you can shut the feck up an all, you dont know where the feck your from, ya swedish derbyshire scouse kunt

I think it says a lot about where Arsenal are at as a club..................they just dont see Utd or City as rivals anymore and are content to sit a level below them........Cliche and Nasri sold to C

Gnasher i think Arsenal have gone backwards in the last few years . Never really replaced seaman with a top keeper , same in defence and midfield . But i would still expect them to still be up there in the top four but Arsenal fans want more than just top four . They have just lost there top player but may be there new signings will do well . The R.V.P. money will be banked .

The prices for players now a days is ridiculous way over the top and the bloody agents dont help either pushing the feees up .

The promise Arsenal fans got before going into the Emirates was that the team on the pitch would not be sacrificed for the debt of the new ground...................at Highbury they regularly won trophies ......yet since moving into the Emirates they havent won a sausage !...............They exploit their fans loyalty,Van Persie could of been sold weeks ago....Arsenal have a policy that all season ticket holders must have their ticket bought by July 1st.........funny how they wait till the tickets are sold and only then sell their best player !..................Id feel a little bit short changed if i was a season ticket holder....particularly when they are the most expensive tickets in Europe !!

Its a case of balancing the books but it has had a detremental effect on the team . No silver ware for a good few years and other teams catching up with them . Im a toon fan and and would love a bit silverware lol

You cant be very old if you dont remember Arsenal winning trophies...........its that attitude that their older generation of fans despise............why would a massive club like Arsenal with some of the greatest history and traditions in the English game be content to finish 4th every year.........fans dont care about a bank balance they want success............well they should do anyway.

Lab its not a bad strike force is it rooney , hernandez , wellbeck and r.v.p.

It certainly is. I wonder if RVP will play in behind Rooney and co.........? Or will play as an out and out striker, i'll be interested to see. He's some manager really....he played Rooney in a few different places last season and i think he'll do the same with RVP.....

I'm 27 and its hard not having that attitude when season after season your best players are sold and the manager is on such a budget he's forced to sign young mainly unheard of players. We don't challenge for the title anymore we challenge for a top fourth spot to secure a nice bit of cash for the club for it not to be re invested in top class players but in their pockets.

Its because the club know they can sell the ground out every week.....they dont care if its with genuine fans or not just as long as the tickets get sold...................the proper supporters are gradually slipping away and being replaced with the prawn sandwich brigade type fans..............but as long as they sell out every week and qualify for champions league football nothing will change....................a good pal of mines a regular he says the " in Arsene we trust " idiots are getting fewer and fewer.

Great signing IMO. Only thing that I've got a slight worry about is his injury record, but then he was often rushed back from injury at Arsenal due to the lack of like for like cover in the squad.

Expensive way of going about it, but the signing is a victory over City in itself before he even kicks a ball this coming season. Mancini has made little effort to conceal his desire for the player over the last 6 months or more and you could tell in some of his press conferences that it really bugged him that he felt it wasn't go to fall his way. That and Hazard saying his decision was a straight choice between signing for Chelsea and United will help to show that they can't get them all no matter how much cash they wave at folk. ;)

The Board are a Disgrace , Ive no problem with RVP leaving , 24million for a 29yr old with 1 terrific season and 7 injured is good business , its the way they are CHEATING the fans yr in yr out , Promising fans players wont be sold only for them too go :censored: why not just be Honest :hmm: they treat the fans like Mushrooms "Keep them in the dark , and feed them with sh1t" , Wenger is Powerfull enough at the club to stop this ... why doesnt he ??? SURELY HE DOESNT RECIEVE A PERCENTAGE OFF PROFIT WHEN SELLING A PLAYER :whistling: , Also why bid £15million for Gary Cahill last summer (Screaming out for a centre half like him) yet couldnt bid 7million for him in January .... SURELY HIS INITIAL BID WOULDNT OFF BEEN A WAY OFF KEEPING THE FANS QUIET THINKIN WHERE TRYIN TO INVEST :whistling: , Wiltshire got injured in the summer , fans told we dont need to replace him he will be fit by October :whistling: come December he is still injured , told he will be fit in a couple off weeks , so we dont need to replace in the January transfer window , as soon as the window closes where told he wont be back till March ... Guess what he is STILL INJURED , told now he will be back in October :censored: and to think they have the BEST medical people money can buy , there either using inferior medical people or there CONNIG THE FAN'S ... I know what i think !!

i think its a top signing and it definately puts a clear message out to the bitter blues that there are still players out there who prefer history, tradition and heritage over cash  it shows that utd can still compete with citys vast wealth, they can attract players away from City because of everything the club and the manager stands for. as for his age,i think the best is yet to come from rvp, remember teddy :toast: beating city to the signing of a quality player like rvp sends out a message, that we intend to get our title back this year  after all,for all citys money they only scored more goals than utd last season and we played nowhere near our best but fergies defo up for it and so am i :toast:

Bitter Blues ???? i think not Craig , they have lived in your shadow for yrs suffered numerous relegations But now in the space off a couple off seasons there your rivals so i wouldnt say that would create bitterness , you think he has signed for history , tradition and heritage .... WHAT like Rooney did when he signed his new contract last yr after holdin the club too ransom to match what city could pay him , RVP will be getting Millions for this deal which Arsenal wouldnt/couldnt match and whichever way you paint it thats the top and bottom off it MONEY !

Is that what you really think.....or is that what you want to think....................my guess is like Fabregas,Nasri,Cliche and now Van Persie............they are top players who want to win things...................and realise Arsenal lack the ambition to win trophies...............top players are not content to be the 4th best club in England every year............like it or not Arsenal have put themself on the rung below the top clubs of the premiership ladder.

Fairytale stuff that mate...i know you'd like to think that but 99% of these foreign players are after the money and thats that. Its not like they have love for the club from a young age. Sometimes they say they do but really its a load of bollocks to get the fans onside.........

quite the opposite,,,,,lets talk about carroll,,,,, got his whole career infront of him (around 12 years) and cost 35 million, RVP has probably 4 seasons left after an average career and cost 24 million....... :hmm:
