small type fox dog best cross

i have been talking with a friend of mine how is after a lurcher for foxing. he wants a small type and was looking for a wippet. i know there are probably wippets that can do the job. but i have put him off a bit as the dog will be working single handed alot of the time. i have told him to may be think about a 1/4 beddlington wippet of a half cross. whats your thoughts on the matter and any good small crosses for charlie. thanks for helping snatch

I'd have something more along the lines of beddy whippet grey, need something with a bit more weight to it than a 3/4 beddy whippet mate. Especially single handed.

My mate used to have a beddy/whippet x whipp/grey was a game lil f****r just one of them dogs maybe?? The lad was a terrier man an it stayed in his pens. Or personally I'd have a bull whippet greyhound 23 inch if I was after a small type
