Millet 4,497
Personaly i would shoot them if you have the farmer's permission to thin them out..if you don't want to shoot them trap them and contact one of those organization's that neuter them then let them go again..that way they won't breed anymore and slowly die out. forest of dean redneck 11,591
All the cat protection places etc are overrun, Either shoot them,or trap and giveaway to stables. Etc for ratters/ mousers. Quote Link to post

patterdalejoel 669
find the newborns and deal with them, your killing a lump of whiny nothingness then not a cute cat Quote Link to post
"Earth!" 503
dont bother with traps just shoot them its far easier my estate is full of them to the exstent i shoot from 1 plus a week. great fun and if ive a feral sat next to a fox, its the feral first every time! Quote Link to post
Born Hunter 17,763
Terrier and a shotgun is my prefered method. If you can't bring yourself to kill them then get someone to do it for you. I would gladly take on a local feral cat job. It's just pest control, but I understand you feeling the way you do if you have pet cats. 1 Quote Link to post
wabbit slayer 16
Yes it aint easy to shoot them when i have a couple of pet cats, we have pet rabbits too but i shoot rabbits but it seems different! None of the rescue places will take em may just be as you say grit your teeth and shoot em and drop in a big hole. is it legal to shoot cats???? Quote Link to post

Squirrel_Basher 17,100
If you havent the stomach for shooting cats then youve no right to be trapping them .Some of the questions on here are beyond me .If you are asked to do a job either payed or unpayed then either do it or pass it on .Cats are very easy to trap but the problem should not be transferred anywhere else .trap then shoot and bury . 1 Quote Link to post
