skycat 6,174 Posted August 19, 2012 Report Share Posted August 19, 2012 I've found that it isn't generally a good idea to add new birds to an existing group: it may not hurt if you have acres and acres of room for them to lay and sleep elsewhere, but mine have never really tolerated newcomers: the phrase 'hen-pecked' comes to mind: they can be really nasty things, and have a very strong pecking order: scuse the pun, but it's true. If you can separate them I would do so and see if it restores calm........and eggs! Quote Link to post Share on other sites

Another thing I was told is the cockeral keeps them in check and would stop the fighting between them. But so many people say different things.
