first thing you had to do was have lurcher club or in a club at one time there was only two clubs moreland and yeats

 

all members in there own club had to run each other so best dog whent forward then names was put in hat in uk and who ever was drawn out had to qualfy to run in the

forley cup that time clubs where bfss afelated

 

you needed a dog with speed staying power and maturite

How did the Irish dogs do were there many dogs that stood out just that so many people were on about Irish stuff not doing too good in England and vice versa u know mate

irish dogs no good over here ,they all jacked .i was stood by a gang of irish fellers when irish lady pulled right out in the middle they were stunned .one or two fellers sold a few average english dogs over to ireland for good money but nothing any good ever went over there

who owned her at the time,cant comment on something i know notting about,but to say notting good came over here your talking shit

Well this is a good chat lads keep it going but to be fair the same goes for the English stuff not being able to cope over ere its a different ball game and I think that fitness is actually an awful lot to do with it we just don't get the real long runs often enough over ere I was talkin to a man the other night pk he used to bring a gang of English lads over to Ireland every year he told me they ran forty hares one week and only killed one and it was a double he said they couldn't get through anything. Not a dig lads just a fair comment .
