zini 1,939
Hi there, In this episode of VerminHuntersTV we are showing something slightly different from the norm and I get invited by a friend of mine Gary onto one of his stubble field permissions to go pigeon shooting with him. As you will see I was wearing a Jack Pyke ghillie smock, gloves and head over and the birds just could not see me stood next to Gary filming. Please enjoy Si. 1 Quote Link to post

It's Great Si, Especially Flighting as they come over really fast and You don't see them till their on You, Decoying's good as well especially if there's 2 or more of You, But for pure Adrenalin Flighting is the Dogs Danglys. hotshot2me 31
An excellent video again Si, a break from your normal videos did you enjoy doing it, like the suit, i have a Ghillie suit but mine's made out of jute a bit warm in summer. I'm almost fit enough to get out, planning for next week, and i am off decoying over wheat stubble. was hoping for this Friday but decided to make sure I'm fit, ATVB: Dave Quote Link to post
pianoman 3,587
This is great. I really love my pidgeon shooting over stubble at this time of the year and this is one of your best films Si. There's an art to decoying woodpidgeon effectively that can't be demonstrated enough. They are very smart birds and very aware of their environment and any threat in their area. This is one of the best How-To-Do-It videos I've seen in a long time since the late and much-missed John Darling. Easily adaptable information for effective hide shooting with an air rifle, from a well prepared point of cover and concealment. Superbly filmed and explained mate. And great fieldcraft and shooting from your friend Gary Regards and compliments. Simon Edited August 16, 2012 by pianoman Quote Link to post

Richie10 345
I thought you would be shooting them with air rifles, that would be a challenge. Quote Link to post
