Cut foot (graphic pictures)

Recommended Posts

Had my bitch out this morning at 5:20 before I went to work, Usual mornings stroll.......until this happened!

She never made a sound or limped and if it hadn't been for the blood on my carpet I wouldn't have known anything had happened to her. Took her straight to the vets and she was put into theatre straight away. She is awake now and I can pick her up at 4pm and find out the full extent of her injuries and how long she will need resting. It doesn't look pretty so fingers crossed she will be up and running soon

3 wks after this he was up and running..no vet required you just have to try and keep it clean.

the local guy loves my mother in law, everytime her dog coughs it's a jag, every bee sting it's antihistamine, she's there every week...........she stays in a council house and he parks his range rove

Most vets should have a fin on there backs, robbing bsatards!!!   That cut would of healed just as well if not better kept clean.

Thanks for sharing that, at least it has given me some comfort that she should heal and be running again. Wasn't taking any chances with not letting a vet see her though

You will have nothing to worry about mate i have had dog's with many cut pad's over the year's and they heal fine..i have a old retired dog here with half of his stopper's missing but it has never effected him..i'm 100% certain you will be out and about again sooner than you think..as for the vet's if you are unsure about anything get them booked in ASAP..you done the right thing..

best advice has already been given, just keep it clean and keep excersise to just a leed walk, it will heal on its own in a few weeks. just be mindfull of infection.let the dog lick it as it will help it heal and keep it clean
