need tips for Salmon & Trout fishing

i was wondering what would th best method for salmon & trout fishing be.. i caught a 9lb salmon 3days ago using a fly & sea, would fly & sea be the best method or what would be the best?

Depends on the water your fishing and the water level. You wont catch many salmon on the shrimp in a flood!

As a general rule brighter condoms for dirtier water, darker condoms in lower water.

In flood worms can catch well either float fished or fished with a jumping jack under a float, fished overdepth (again depends on where your fishing)

Low water shrimp or bubble and fly can be deadly!

As ferret features says 3" mono always works, better put your runnin shoes on though!! :D Atb Mark

them flying condoms are deadly,what i do with them is to cast them upstream and wind in as quick as possible until you feel the blade turning then slow it down until the blade is just turning and no more,the only thing with them i find is that different colours work on different rivers its all triall and error,good luck anyway,they will work for sea trout as long as you dont spook them,wf
