hobs and gills 2
At this time of year when water bottles start to collect algae in the neck of the bottles because of the heat and long hours of sun and your bottlebrush is not getting right in the neck.......top tip empty water out put in 20 odd grains of rice and a egg cup full of water ....shake like mad for a minute....hey presto clean bottle....thought i would share that one.....happy hunting. 1 Quote Link to post
Tug 168
Just bend the end of your bottle brush 90 degrees so it's an 'L' shape. Make the bent bit the same length as from neck to edge of the bottle, that way you can do inside the top, and the flat of the bottom piece of cake. The inside of the bend is great for cleaning the neck thread too. Quote Link to post

Bootsha 1,306
use a dark coloured bottle, that'll filter out the sun and stop the algae forming in the first place. Try putting insulation tape covering a whole plastic bottle just to see if it works. It does. Quote Link to post
