Recommended Posts

recently my father purchased a second hand bsa superten from a reputable gun dealer on recent outings the gun has on more than one occasion failed to cock and feed upto three pellets into the barrel on other occasions it has completely jamed and had to go back to shop is this a common issue with the superten? i once upon a time owned a bsa hornet and hated the gun i swore i would never own another one iam slightly biased against them atb.

Mole think you answered your own question, you were lucky enough to find a brand new never been used superten so 'new condition'.

Your mag is essentially new.

Many people obviously buy very old very used and very abused supertens hence the mags are generally shot.

Guess you got lucky with the used mag.

There it is I look after my guns... The secondhand one that we got did need a service, there is an excellent video on you tube, deals with the O rings but generally clean everything and put it back together!
