Coursing 2012/ 2013 Irish Events..

Been looking at taking a trip to Clonmel in Feb 2013..

 

Any members been, do you get tickets per day or for whole event ??

 

Are there better Events to spectate at??

 

Any one traveled from England ?? Did You take own car and ferry or fly ??

 

Some Hotels look mint bit pricey but offer free fishing lol..

went a few years ago stayed 30 mins away in cashel

we payed at gate was great few days plenty of drink seen vinny jones as he a regular

was told that bnbs are booked up near a year in advance in clonmel but not sure

would ove go bk down again had great time

Some avalibility in local hotels... How much was price on the gate ??

 

what sort of facilitys do they have ??

it was 20 euro each day programe was 5 euro

there was a craft fair there with stalls selling dog stuff

best place and busiest was the bar tho brilliant craic

Used to go all the time got to expenisive when changed to euro thk its about £25 a day in. Brillant craic the whole clonmel partys for 3 days casinos all the bars replay the coursing on tvs that night diff worth going to if havnt been before.

ive been a few times. we just bought a ticket at the gate..

 

recently ive flown to belfast (home town) and drove down for the finals day. long drive but worth it. the times i sayed we had a B&B in the town itself but had to book a year in advance.

 

hoping to go back in 2013.
