lurcher330 2,301
I have been breeding ferrets for 15 years and i have never came across this before ,has anyone else and if so ,how will it fair out I have a 3 year old silver jill and she had a litter of only 3 kits and one which was weak from day one hasn't made it but the other 2 jill kits seem to be doing grand ,apart from i noticed a week or so ago that around their back end the skin seemed to be slightly torn ,i reckon from the jill over stimulating them when she is making them empty their bladder, but i have noticed today that they are healing but there does not seem to be an open to let the urine out. they are about 3 weeks old now ,hope these pictures can show what i am on about Quote Link to post

lurcher330 2,301
They seem healthy otherwise ,plenty of moving about and eating ,I have tried stimulating them with some wet tissus but nothing ,I will try them again i the morning, and if nothing i will try a vet . Quote Link to post
Kay 3,709
had a jill kit wit a condition called anal artresia recto vaginal fistual .. she basically peed & crapped through her vaginal opening as there was no anal opening.. she was put to sleep ... she needs a vet to look at her & diagnose the problem & then act accordingly.. edited to add the kit in question was a result of a silver to silver mating that i took in ... she also had no tail Edited August 10, 2012 by Kay Quote Link to post
