Magpie Cages from ProTrapper

Does anyone know where I can get the Larsen Mate traps (single catch) from? I had ordered and paid for 4 from Pro-Trapper back in May, but despite being fobbed off with excuses about the quality of the powder coating, courier service etc etc - guess what? They never arrived. I have tried contacting the other ProTrapper company with the email address info@protrapper.biz but they don't want to reply either. The magpies are getting wise to the normal Larsen Traps, esecially when some of them have been let out by bunny huggers.

If you were local to me i have a couple you could of borrowed one to try make your own they are quite easy to make

i thought that the clamtrap had been around for years certainly not a modern style of trap

I think variations of most traps have been around for years but that particular form was patented in 2006 - the patent is not easy to find cos it's filed under a different catagory. Ian Woods copied the Elgeeco design with minor mods to suit fabrication methods available. I think they are also available from a place in Scotland.
